Why we say this

We are not a clinic. We synthesize widely published educational material and survivor-informed practice. Always verify legal and medical decisions with licensed professionals.

Narcissistic abuse & gaslighting

Educational overviews of tactics (gaslighting, love-bombing, devaluation, hoovering) from major mental-health education publishers such as HelpGuide and clinical education articles on narcissistic abuse patterns.

Domestic violence (all genders)

National Domestic Violence Hotline (thehotline.org) — crisis support and safety planning. Lifetime prevalence statistics commonly cite roughly 1 in 4 women and about 1 in 6–7 men experiencing some form of intimate partner violence (sources vary by study definition).

Male victims

HelpGuide’s domestic violence against men resources; UK ManKind Initiative / Men’s Advice Line; Ireland Men’s Aid — for male-specific access barriers and signs.

Gray Rock / high-conflict communication

Gray Rock is a widely discussed self-protection strategy in survivor communities (anecdotal efficacy). BIFF comes from high-conflict communication practice associated with Bill Eddy / High Conflict Institute materials.

Recording conversations

U.S.: one-party vs all-party consent (legal education resources, state law libraries, survivor tech-safety guides). Canada: Criminal Code s.184 one-party consent when you participate (Justice Laws / legal commentary). Laws change — our helper is educational only.

Crisis lines

U.S.: 1-800-799-SAFE; 988; VictimConnect; RAINN. Canada: 988; Crisis Services Canada 1-833-456-4566; 211; provincial lines listed on canada.ca family violence services; sheltersafe.ca.

What we do not claim

We do not diagnose NPD online. We do not promise court outcomes. We do not encourage illegal recording. We do not replace therapy or counsel.
